The shine of metal keys, business festive bustle and happy, although a little confused smiles on the faces of people who have not yet fully realized the exciting news – “We will have our own home!” In such an atmosphere, yesterday, the keys to the gifted housing were presented to 27 employees of Kazakhmys Holding LLC units.
Guests of the honor were confused, but sincerely thanked in return. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of such a gift for a large family, given today's real estate prices. This can be fully appreciated by those who, like the family of Klara Askarova, a driver-fireman, had been changing one rented apartment for another for thirteen years. Now she, her husband and six sons have a four-room comfortable apartment, equipped with necessary household appliances.
Adilet N. Barmenkulov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Kazakhmys Corporation LLC, was the first who officially congratulated the new inhabitants. He presented the keys and wished them a happy life in a new place. “Thanks to your work, today we are able to solve serious operational and social problems. Therefore, your today's holiday is also the result of your work!”, he noted.
This was the next stage in implementation of the Program for support of Kazakhmys Group Companies employees with large families. Taking care of employees, including those with large families, became a good tradition in the company a long time ago. In total this year, under the tripartite Memorandum on social responsibility of business, 133 company's employees with large families have already been provided with comfortable housing. The actions took place in the cities of Zhezkazgan, Satpayev and Balkhash, and the geography of today's new inhabitants includes the entire Karaganda region, in addition to the regional center, apartments and cottages are located in Temirtau city, the settlements of Karagaily, Topar and Molodezhny.
