In January 2021, the Personnel Service of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP announced the start of accepting applications for the second stage of the School of Directors development program. Recall that it dates back to 2019 and is the leading corporate program for the training of senior managers. Over the past three years, its participants have been actively adding to their professional knowledge, gaining enormous managerial experience, and undergoing personal transformation.
Even today, we can talk about a number of changes with a "plus" sign that occurred with the participants of the first stage of the "School of Directors". Among the key changes are: objectively increased personal performance indicators, significant career advancement, opportunities for large-scale cross-functional implementation, etc.
Meanwhile, the second stage of the "School of Directors" will be based on the principle of "seeing and multiplying positive experiences". The HR Department conducted a detailed analysis of each significant aspect of the first wave program, looking at the existing processes critically and absorbing all the best for its logical continuation. According to the results of recruitment, more than 2,000 employees of the group of companies showed a keen interest in the program. Taking into account the presence of the entrance criteria for participation (age, work experience, education, reputation compliance), 526 applications were received for consideration, which is 76.6% higher than the indicators of the first set. Each application was carefully monitored by the Personnel Service specialists to make a decision on further selection.
The selection events within the framework of the program are a three-stage process consisting of the stages of professional testing, interviews and a multi-factor assessment (Assessment Center).
Candidates who have successfully passed all three stages will be solemnly enrolled in the "School of Directors" in May this year. From this moment, a new, special stage of professional life will begin for each participant, which the Personnel Service promises to make as productive and meaningful as possible.
