Based on performance results of Kazakhmys Corporation LLC for Q1, 2021, 7 million 90 thousand tonnes of ore were mined (against 7 million 407 thousand tonnes of ore mined in Q1, 2020).

Average copper grade in mined ore totalled 0.98%, +0.08 above target (0.98% - actual, 0.90 – target).

The total volume of ore processed at Kazakhmys Concentrators in Q1, 2021, equaled 7,481 million tonnes.

Production targets of Kazakhmys Corporation LLC for various commodities in Q1, 2021 have been accomplished as follows:

• copper cathode production totalled 72,206 thousand tonnes, +5 thousand tonnes above the planned target, surplus of 1.40% (+1,007 thousand tonnes) as compared with the same period in the prior year (71,199 thousand tonnes);
• gold in bar production totalled 1,758 kg, a surplus of 31.66% (+422 kg) as compared with the same period in the prior year (1,336) kg;
• production of silver in bar and pelleted silver totalled 68,334 kg.

In Q2, 2021, Kazakhmys Corporation LLC plans to produce 53,761 thousand tonnes in copper cathode equivalent.
